Pharmacy Technician - Walpole, MA

A pharmacy technician role is available on a contract basis in Walpole, MA, supporting a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) pharmacy operation. This facility has recently implemented a new frameworks system and is currently catching up on production. The assignment is expected to last approximately 4 to 6 weeks, aimed at stabilizing workflow. Key responsibilities include data entry, order fulfillment and production tasks, as well as tote packing. Flexibility is essential, as candidates must be prepared to work varied shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, as well as Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend availability is highly preferred. Qualifications and experience desired: Current Massachusetts pharmacy technician license is required. Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy is preferred. Candidates with retail pharmacy technician backgrounds who are capable of managing high-volume environments are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with framework-based pharmacy systems is a plus but not mandatory.
