Pediatric ER

Clinicians are only eligible to work at one RWJ site. Therefore, please submit applications only for the site where they are fully committed to working at least 4 shifts per month. Once a clinician is submitted and approved for a site, they will be assigned a specific requisition ID for that location. Keep in mind that these requisition IDs take time to be approved and assigned, and switching locations afterward will not be permitted. Peds ED RNs are needed at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center!RWJBH FacilityRequirements: - Minimum of 1.5 years of Peds ED experience required - Proficient Vent management preferred - Active RN License - Current AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS - Peds ED is separate from the Main ED - PICU experience preferred, may float to PICU and Peds - 2 clinical references, at least 1 leadership reference from assignments within the last year - Cancellation Policy: 3 instances of last-minute shift cancellations (defined as within 24-48 hours of the scheduled shift) will be subject to review by the facility to be cancelled or a final warning - RNs MUST complete de-escalation training course - Course isplus tax Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asapShift Details: - Shift Times: 1900-0730 Orientation Details: 1 day computer training at home, 2nd day on-unit @ 7a Additional Details: - Charting system: Epic - Scrubs color: Navy Blue - 1-year separation for previous staff - Parking is free in any unrestricted space. Security is not stationed in the garage but is directly next to the entrance.
