An experienced infusion pharmacist is needed to cover a maternity leave at a well-known infusion pharmacy located near Hartford, CT. This contract opportunity offers a focused four-week assignment with the potential to extend, providing essential infusion and clinical pharmacy services Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include: Managing home infusion pharmacy orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety Providing clinical review and pharmacy support for infusion therapies Collaborating with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication therapy Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy policies Supporting daily pharmacy operations in a clinical infusion setting Preferred qualifications and experience: Licensed pharmacist with experience in home infusion pharmacy Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage complex infusion regimens Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the pharmacy team Prior experience covering short-term assignments or maternity leave is a plus Location: West Hartford, Connecticut (worksite approximately 20 minutes north in Enfield, CT) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This role is ideal for a licensed infusion pharmacist seeking a short-term contract with flexible potential to extend.
