You are applying through Medix, a staffing agency. This role is with one of our healthcare clients. Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door pharmacy supporting long-term care (LTC) and post-acute care facilities. This role focuses on prescription fulfillment and medication preparation in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with no direct patient or retail interaction. Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts Schedule: M-F 3:00 PM - ~12:30 AM & Every other weekend, 9:00 AM - ~5:30 PM Key Responsibilities Unit dose solid medications into blister packs Label unit-of-use packaging for patient-specific medications Measure and pour liquid medications into unit-of-use packaging Prepare non-sterile compounds according to pharmacy standards Maintain accuracy, organization, and compliance throughout workflow Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations and procedures Qualifications Active state license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn Ability to take direction and work efficiently in a production-style environment Education High School Diploma or GED required Additional Requirements Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Benefits (Through Medix) Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state and local ordinances Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 6 plan options available (3 Major Medical, 2 Fixed Indemnity, 1 MEC plan) Eligibility based on averaging 30+ hours/week during the first 4 weeks Coverage begins no earlier than 60 days, depending on plan selection Short-Term Disability Insurance Term Life Insurance Compliance Notice This position is located in Massachusetts and is subject to applicable state compliance and employment requirements.
