ARDMS - Ultrasound Sonographer No weekends! Schedule: Weekdays | Full Time MLR is searching for a compassionate and skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join a reputable medical team in Vermont. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, produce high-quality imaging, and ensure patient comfort during procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies. Operate ultrasound equipment with proficiency, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate results. Assess and evaluate images to identify abnormalities and communicate findings to physicians and healthcare providers. Provide patient education and support, ensuring patients understand the procedure and are comfortable throughout the process. Prepare and maintain detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with medical and legal standards. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to diagnostic decisions. Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and departmental procedures. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through ongoing education and professional development. Qualifications: Previous hospital experience necessary Minimum 5 years' experience in hospital setting ARDMS certification required Associates Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or ARDMS eligible BLS
