Maintenance Mechanic

Our client who is a leading manufacturer is seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic position in the Franklin Park, Illinois area. This is a direct hire opportunity on night shift. Hours will be: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour rotating schedule: 3 days on, 2 off, 4 on, 2 off. Pay range: $33-$36 per hour. The Maintenance Technician/Mechanic position involves maintaining and repairing molding machines and auxiliary equipment. The role focuses on both preventative and reactive maintenance while supporting production efficiency, safety standards, and quality goals. Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician/Mechanic position: -Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems -Identify and respond to equipment malfunctions promptly -Perform scheduled preventative maintenance -Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records -Follow all safety, quality, and environmental protocols -Support 5S initiatives and maintain a clean, organized workspace -Communicate effectively with other departments -Available to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed Client company benefits available.
