Manufacturing EngineerDepartment: Continuous Improvement Employment Type: Full Time Location: Greencastle, PA Description The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in driving operational excellence by leading and supporting improvement initiatives across our facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring projects that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. In addition to providing day-to-day technical support, the Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with CNC machinery and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and integrate new equipment and processes. The role includes introducing advanced technologies, delivering technical expertise, and supporting project management activities to ensure successful execution. As a Lean Facilitator Champion, the Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying waste, facilitating problem-solving teams, and maintaining accurate performance data within SharePoint. How You Will Help Lead and execute manufacturing improvement projects to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Provide technical support for daily operations, including troubleshooting and optimizing CNC machinery. Identify, evaluate, and implement new equipment, processes, and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on project planning and execution. Serve as a Lean Manufacturing Champion by driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading problem-solving teams. Maintain accurate documentation and performance data in SharePoint and other systems. Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Support training and knowledge sharing for new processes and technologies. What You Will BringEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years of related experience, OR Associate degree with 6+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree. Technical Skills: Lean Manufacturing experience CNC programming and operation Ability to read and interpret blueprints Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Effective communication with internal teams and external partners Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work Personal Attributes: Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment Self-motivated with strong initiative Dependable and cooperative team player Maintains professionalism and composure under pressure
