Relocation assistance is provided to the qualified candidate!Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer to join their team! The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing production processes and improving overall manufacturing efficiency. This position requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance product quality and reduce costs. Responsibilities: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Develop and maintain detailed standard work instructions for all production processes. Investigate and resolve root causes of quality issues and customer complaints using problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D). Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to improve productivity and reduce cycle times. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams, including troubleshooting equipment and training operators. Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with plant management, engineering, and operations teams to achieve manufacturing goals. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including metal cutting, forming, and welding. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and PLC programming. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
