Senior Business Analyst / Domain Subject Matter Expert (Merchant Acquiring) Required Experience & Functional Expertise • 8-12+ years of experience in merchant acquiring payment processing, card networks, or PSP ecosystems. • Deep understanding of: o Merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, underwriting workflows o Pricing constructs, interchange, fees, surcharge models o Clearing, settlement, chargebacks, disputes, representments o Servicing operations and merchant lifecycle management o Merchant risk, fraud indicators, and monitoring practices o Revenue assurance and leakage detection mechanisms Data & Technical Knowledge • Strong working knowledge of merchant data models, including: o Merchant demographics and segmentation o Transaction and authorization attributes o Chargeback and dispute data o Settlement, funding, and fees o MCC codes, terminal/POS data, acquirer reference numbers, dispute reason codes • Prior experience with industry players such as Stripe, Fiserv, Global Payments, Worldpay, Adyen, Elavon, Chase or similar acquiring platforms. Experience working with data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML teams is a strong asset.
