Sr. Lead - Business Systems Analyst

JOB TITLE: Sr. Lead - Business Systems Analyst LOCATION OF THE JOB: PISCATAWAY, NJ JOB TYPE: FULL TIME TRAVEL: Must be willing to relocate and work anywhere in the US. COMPANY DESCRIPTION: JOB ROLE AND PURPOSE: Conduct core business analysis tasks, including requirements estimation, gap analysis, prioritization, and comprehensive documentation using Microsoft Office suite tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement web-based and cloud-based policy administration systems, including Policy Decisions, Policy Decision Evolution, and DuckCreek OnDemand. Define business requirements for complex third-party system integrations and legacy system migrations onto DuckCreek, with an emphasis on the conversion module. Analyze and manage requirements across various Property and Casualty insurance lines, including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Business Owners, and Workers' Compensation. Utilize specialized tools such as Docfinity, Kofax, and PPM to enhance operational efficiency and automate processes. Oversee the rapid and efficient development of policy administration solutions using low-code platforms like AppFactory. Create detailed UI mock-ups, flowcharts, and UML diagrams using Microsoft Visio and Lucidchart to clearly communicate business processes and system designs. Develop and execute advanced SQL queries and procedures for application development, data analysis, and troubleshooting. Manage and track project tasks effectively using project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Kanban boards. Monitor and maintain system stability across development and production environments to ensure consistent availability and optimal performance. Apply Waterfall and Scrum methodologies to deliver projects effectively and within timelines. Maintain relevant industry-standard domain and technical certifications, including AINS, ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI, JavaScript, and VB6. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or equiv) in CompSci, Engg (Comp/Mech/Electronic) or related field, plus 5 years of experience in occupation involving similar duties/technical capabilities.
