Occupational Therapist : Part Time

Job Type Part-time Description Little Friends Center for Autism is looking for a part time Occupational Therapist to join their multi-disciplinary team. OTs develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for referred clients. Will assess the OT needs of referred clients and write reports with recommendations. Write goals ensuring the treatment plan is appropriate and current and document progress on those goals using SOAP notes. Consult with parents/guardians in regards to integrating the occupational therapy plans into the home environment. Communicate with schools, doctors or other therapists when permitted and necessary to obtain or give information per parental requests. Prove 6 month progress summaries on all clients in caseload. Benefits Accrued paid leave time 401K plan with annual matching Requirements Degree in Occupational Therapy with Illinois state licensure. Experience with pediatric and autism population perferred. School or clinic experience as well as experience with sensory integration preferred. Salary Description $50-$55/hour
