DetailsClient Name Memorial Hospital East Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Med Surg Tele Job ID 36148333 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele Weekly Pay $2108.0 Shift DetailsShift Nights - 3 x 12 Scheduled Hours 36 Job Order DetailsStart Date 04/06/2026 End Date 07/06/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description MED-SURG/TELEMETRY RN - NIGHTS Schedule: - 12-hour nights, 1845-0715 - 3 shifts/week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Assignment Details: - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week (3 x 12s) - Orientation: 24 hours Requirements: - Minimum 1 year med-surg/cardiac/telemetry nursing experience - Licensure: Valid state RN license (Illinois is NOT a compact state) - Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BCLS (BLS) - Skills: Telemetry monitoring, IV medication administration, management of acutely ill patients Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with acute medical and cardiac conditions. - Monitor telemetry and provide necessary interventions for patients. - Administer IV medications, including antiarrhythmics and heparin. - Support patients transitioning from ICU care. - Assist in the management of patients requiring BiPAP support. - Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. Compliance / Notes: - Fit testing: Facial hair must allow proper fit testing. - Vaccines: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed). - References and copies of certifications required per facility rules. - Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract.
