Full-time travel LPN opportunity (Days/Evenings) providing skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric residents in a supportive, team-based long-term care facility in the Finger Lakes region. Job Details Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 - Waterloo, Finger Lakes, New York LPN jobs Setting: Long Term Care Facility / Skilled Nursing Employment Type: Travel LPN, Full Time Shifts: Days and/or Evenings as scheduled (5 x 8-hour shifts per week) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1560-$1640/week Start Date: March 31, 2026 End Date: July 11, 2026 Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required Orientation: Must be able to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full-shift orientation Number of Openings: 5 LPN positions Qualifications / Job Requirements Active NY LPN licensure required (Licensed Practical Nurse) BLS certification through AHA or RQI required Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience preferred Experience providing care to adult and geriatric residents, including medication administration and basic wound care Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Comfort working in a fast-paced nursing environment and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents under RN supervision (long-term care LPN duties) Assess resident condition, collect clinical data, and report findings to the RN and interdisciplinary team Contribute to development and revision of individualized care plans for adult and geriatric residents Administer medications and treatments safely per facility policy and NY regulations Participate in mentoring and orientation of new nursing staff and assist with staff training Maintain nursing competency through continuing education and in-service programs Promote a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure resident satisfaction and dignity Follow facility policies and procedures with attention to resident safety, quality, and cost-effective care Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and strong patient advocacy in the practice setting Why Join Our Team Work in a collaborative long-term care facility in scenic Waterloo, NY (Finger Lakes area) Gain experience in geriatric and adult skilled nursing care - ideal for LPNs seeking Long Term Care or travel LPN roles Supportive team culture focused on resident-centered care Apply now: If you are an experienced LPN with NY licensure and a passion for long-term care, we want to hear from you.
