Job Details Location: McHenry, Illinois (60050) - Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab Assignment Length: 12 weeks (April 6, 2026 - June 29, 2026) Shift: 4 × 10?hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00) Hours per Week: 40 Call: 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend Setting: Community Hospital Cath Lab - interventional cardiac imaging Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,600-$2,790/week Qualifications / Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of direct Cath Lab experience (cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures) Current Illinois state license in hand prior to start Required certifications: ARRT (R), ACLS, BLS (AHA required). CCI RCIS preferred/required where applicable Proficient with Epic electronic medical record (Epic EMR) and accurate procedure documentation Strong skills in diagnostic and interventional cardiac Cath Lab procedures, imaging equipment operation, and sterile technique ASN or BSN accepted (BSN required for certain facilities) COVID?19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical exemptions considered for COVID?19 only) Must provide current license, completed skills checklist, and two recent references (one from a supervisor/manager/charge RN within the last year) Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI, PTCA, and stent placement Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, C?arm, CT as applicable) and ensure proper imaging quality Assist with device procedures such as cardiac implant closure devices, intra?aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement/removal, and rotablator atherectomy Recognize and interpret life?threatening arrhythmias and dysrhythmias; initiate appropriate emergency protocols Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols in the Cath Lab Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, Radiology, Cardiology, and Pharmacy to optimize patient care Participate in scheduled call rotation and provide timely, accurate documentation in Epic Why Take This Travel CT / Cath Lab Tech Opportunity Work in a collaborative cardiac Cath Lab with advanced imaging technology Gain travel healthcare experience in McHenry, IL - a community with scenic parks and nearby lakes Competitive travel pay and assignment benefits (estimated weekly salary: $2,600-$2,790/week) How to Apply: Apply now to be considered for this Cath Lab CT Technologist travel assignment.
