Java Full Stack Developer with AWS

Job Title: Java FSD with AWS Location : NYC & Wilmington, DE - Onsite Hiring Type: Contract & Full-Time Experience Level - 9+ Years Required Skillset: Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, Cockroach, Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana, Python or Shell Scripting, Devops. Job Description: Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 9+ years applied experience and hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability 9+ years of experience in full-stack Java development within team (Agile/Scrum) environments and large implementations Mandatory hands-on experience with core Java, Spring, Kafka and REST services. Must have experience in Cassandra, Cockroach, Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana Experience in Python or Shell Scripting and Devops Leverage AWS services, including ECS, EKS, and Lambda, to design, deploy, and manage scalable and efficient cloud-based applications within the software development lifecycle Utilize advanced tools like Copilot and Codeium to streamline development processes and improve productivity. Excellent knowledge and experience in System Design, Domain Driven Design, and Microservices Experience with architectural patterns for scalability, high availability, performance, and disaster recovery Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Practical cloud native experience Minimum 3-4 years of Banking domain experience in recent projecs.
