Job Description

This role adheres to CMG Standard Operating Procedures to efficiently produce, handle, and prepare products for storage or immediate use, ensuring compliance with HACCP, safety, and regulatory guidelines. As an integral part of the team, this position provides leadership to the distribution center through job direction based on customer and production demand. Essential Functions Properly producing and handling products in an efficient and value-added manner for storage or immediate use according to a range of processing criteria; while observing pertinent HACCP, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Leader in production, order processing, shipping/receiving, inventory cycle counting, and light maintenance Motivates staff to meet and exceed standards of excellence Assist in developing and/or maintaining written documentation of all SOPs and JSAs. Assist in employee training; including forklift and safety certification programs. Maintain shift logs and inter-shift communications as necessary Provide key feedback to Warehouse Manager on staff performance, operations, and material handling processes/procedures Leader in developing and maintaining professional relationships with carriers and customers. Other relative tasks within Warehouse and Office as required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities GED or High School diploma preferred 5 years of warehouse/production experience required. 2 years of leadership experience preferred. Warehouse/Material handling and QA experience is a must. Warehouse Management or Inventory Control software system experience preferred. Forklift experience is required. Functional business literacy in English. Basic computer competency is required. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, team player. Ability to comfortably lift and carry 55lbs multiple times per day, at distances of up to 100ft. Ability to utilize rolling 8ft rolling ladders. Ability to work occasional overtime. Passion for the craft brewing & malting industry is a plus. Compensation Hourly range $23.72- $35.58 per hour depending on experience. Ideal candidates will be hired in the mid range.
