Pharmacy TechnicianSalary: $27-$30/hour (flexible based on experience) + benefits Location: Onsite in Cambridge, MA 02139 Summary: Our client, a leading home infusion pharmacy, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Compounding IV Pharmacy Technician to join a growing team focused on patient safety and high-quality pharmaceutical care. This is a Monday-Friday role with consistent daytime hours (8:00am-5:00pm). What You'll Do • Compound and prepare sterile IV admixtures in compliance with USP and aseptic techniques • Support the Pharmacist in scheduling and coordinating sterile medication preparation • Perform dosage calculations and obtain Pharmacist validation before mixing • Prepare medication labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets • Maintain detailed records, including batch logs, lot numbers, and expiration dates • Sanitize and maintain cleanroom, tools, and equipment per regulatory standards • Pick and pull inventory for compounding and dispensing • Participate in team meetings and quality improvement efforts • Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, state, and federal regulations for infusion pharmacy • Communicate patient supply inventories to the Pharmacist as needed What You Bring • Active Pharmacy Technician License (required) • Sterile compounding experience preferred, but not required • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile procedures, or willingness to be trained • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols • Strong organizational and communication skills • Positive attitude, strong personality fit, and excitement to learn and grow What's In It For You • 401(k) retirement plan • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off (PTO) • No weekends or nights - Monday through Friday schedule Location Due to the challenges of commuting in and out of Cambridge during peak Boston traffic hours, we are prioritizing candidates who live in Cambridge or in the surrounding cities and towns to ensure a reliable commute.
