Physician Assistant - Spine & Extremity OrthopedicsLocation: Atlanta Metro Positions: 2 Available Schedule: Monday-Friday | No Call | No Weekends Position Overview ProCo and AICA Orthopedics seeks experienced Physician Assistants for our multidisciplinary orthopedic practice spanning 21 locations. Unlike traditional groups that specialize in single body parts, our PAs work across both spine and extremity orthopedics, providing comprehensive care to accident injury patients alongside orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and interventional spine specialists. What You'll DoClinical Care: Conduct medical histories and physical examinations for spine and extremity injuries Diagnose and develop treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions under physician supervision Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans) Perform trigger point injections and major joint injections Manage pre- and post-procedural care for interventional patients Interventional & Surgical Support: Order and coordinate interventional spine procedures (epidurals, facet blocks, RFA) First assist in OR for orthopedic and spine surgeries Assist with endoscopic spine surgeries and minimally invasive procedures Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Serve as liaison between patients and care team across multiple specialties Refer patients appropriately for specialized procedures or surgical consultation Ensure continuity of care across 21 AICA locations Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and therapy teams What You BringRequired: Graduate of accredited PA program with current Georgia licensure (or ability to obtain) Minimum 5 years PA experience (strongly preferred) Experience in spine and extremity orthopedics - this is critical Current DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications Proficiency with trigger point and joint injections EMR experience (NextGen preferred) Ability to work autonomously under physician supervision Preferred: Spine experience valued over extremity-only OR experience with first assist capabilities Personal injury or workers' compensation practice background Multidisciplinary practice experience What Sets You Apart Broad orthopedic knowledge across spine and multiple extremity areas Clinical versatility managing diverse musculoskeletal conditions Strong procedural skills with desire to expand OR capabilities Team-oriented mindset thriving in multidisciplinary settings Independent worker managing high-volume clinical workflow Adaptable across multiple locations and patient populations Why ProCo / AICA?Unique Clinical Experience: Work across spine, sports medicine, hand/upper extremity, and foot/ankle True multidisciplinary exposure unlike traditional orthopedic groups OR opportunities and advanced procedural skill development Work-Life Balance: No call, no weekends (unless choosing optional urgent care) Monday-Friday schedule 3 weeks PTO + 1 week paid CME Competitive Package: Up to $175,000 base salary for well qualified applicants Performance bonuses and salary differentials for multi-site coverage Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k) CME allowance and conference attendance Flexible employment (W-2 or 1099 options) Career Growth: Cross-training in multiple orthopedic subspecialties Leadership pathways (Senior PA, Lead PA, Clinical Coordinator) Mentorship from experienced surgeons and specialists Growing organization with 400+ team members Practice DetailsPatient Population: Auto accident and personal injury patients Workers' compensation and commercial insurance Acute/subacute spine and extremity injuries Work Environment: High-volume, fast-paced clinical setting Modern facilities with NextGen EMR Collaborative team with physician mentorship State-of-the-art equipment across 21 locations About ProCo AICA Orthopedics For 25 years, ProCo and AICA has been Atlanta's premier integrated healthcare provider with 21 locations.
