Job Details Location: Burlington, MA 01805 - Burlington, MA travel nursing; close to Boston Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Contract Nursing) Department: Emergency Department (ED) / Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 8 weeks Start Date: March 23, 2026 End Date: May 16, 2026 Shift: 12-hour nights (every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required) Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed) Float Required: No Job Requirements / Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (MA RN) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department / Emergency Room nursing experience Level I trauma experience required (trauma resuscitation and high-acuity ED care) Experience with Epic electronic medical records (Epic EMR) preferred Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required PALS or ENPC (equivalency), and TNCC certifications required If previously employed by Beth Israel Lahey Health, must be separated for at least 6 months Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Ability to work every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts during the assignment Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing acute medical emergencies and trauma Perform rapid assessments, triage, and emergent interventions in a fast-paced ED environment Lead and participate in trauma resuscitations and high-acuity patient care consistent with Level I trauma standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and ancillary staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize Epic for patient documentation, electronic MAR, orders, and communication Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality initiatives Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge instructions for emergency care patients Engage in ongoing professional development, competency validation, and ED-specific training What We Offer Experience working in a modern, high-acuity Level I Trauma Center Supportive ED team environment and opportunities for professional growth Access to Boston-area resources and amenities during your travel assignment Compensation Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470 - $2600 Apply now to join our healthcare team as an ER Registered Nurse.
