Clayton Services is searching for a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Project Management Focus to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas. The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Project Management Focus will be responsible for leading and delivering civil and structural engineering projects ranging from small developments to complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure and structural systems. Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $115,000 - $150,000/year Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more. Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Project Management Focus Responsibilities: Lead civil and structural engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met Perform advanced structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, timber, foundations, retaining walls, paving, drainage, and site development projects Manage project teams by assigning tasks, setting milestones, resolving technical challenges, and monitoring overall project performance Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, design criteria, and technical documentation Develop design concepts, construction documents, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates Coordinate design efforts with internal engineers, drafting technicians, and external disciplines Conduct design reviews and quality checks in accordance with internal quality metrics and best practices Participate in field investigations, inspections, and rehabilitation assessments of existing structures Resolve complex design issues through field verification, engineering analysis, and detailed review of work prepared by others Prepare quantity takeoffs and support the development of project pricing, proposals, and negotiated proformas Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution Other duties as assigned Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Project Management Focus Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide technical teams and manage multiple priorities Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical capabilities Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools Willingness to travel up to 20% as required by project demands Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Project Management Focus Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required Minimum of 6-10 years of experience working in a collaborative engineering environment Experience supporting or working on federal projects and meeting applicable federal requirements Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a TWIC card preferred Senior Civil/Structural Engineer - Project Management Focus - Immediate need.
