Oncology RN

Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in a hospital oncology setting. This role is designed for nurses with strong clinical oncology experience who are comfortable managing chemotherapy administration and complex cancer-related conditions. Local and travel RNs are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in an inpatient or infusion environment Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy per protocol (if applicable) Monitor for infusion reactions and treatment-related complications Manage symptom control including pain, nausea, and treatment side effects Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient status Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medication regimens Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary care teams Qualifications Active RN license (state or compact as applicable) Minimum 2+ years of recent oncology nursing experience required Experience with chemotherapy administration required (if facility mandates) Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills Ability to manage medically complex patients Required Certifications BLS required ACLS required ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred Contract Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (days or nights based on availability) Employment Type: Contract (not permanent) Travel nurses welcome - travel packages available
