Job Description: The Curry College Exercise Science Program is accepting applications for Part-Time Associate Lecturers that can teach the lab course, Principles of Strength & Conditioning Lab beginning Fall 2026. The Associate Lecturer will teach undergraduates, in-person, at our Milton, MA campus. Part-time faculty are responsible for planning and presenting the material assigned for their course. This includes edits to syllabi, presenting educational material in a clear/manageable fashion, creating an active learning environment, and examination/grading in a timely manner. Part-time faculty are expected to work collaboratively with faculty in the department to ensure consistent course delivery. Screening and review of candidate application materials will begin immediately and will be ongoing. Responsibilities: The associate lecturer will teach the lab course, Principles of Strength and Conditioning, to Undergraduate students in person at our Milton location. This is a 1-credit course running on Tuesdays from 1pm-3:30pm over the Fall 2026 Semester ((August 31st - December 19th). Part-Time, Associate Lecturers are expected to work collaboratively with faculty in the department to ensure consistent course delivery. Associate Lecturers must use the College's learning management system, Canvas, to post syllabus, assignments, grades and other materials to actively communicate with students. Office hours are to be expected as well as timely communication/response to members of the college as well as students. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a Master's Degree in Strength & Conditioning or a closely related field is required. Minimum of two years professional experience working in the field of Strength and Conditioning, Human Mechanics, Exercise Science, or closely related field is required. Preferred Qualifications: One year teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
