Job Full Description Equipment Technician We're hiring an Equipment Technician to keep a variety of municipal vehicles and equipment in top condition. This role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems, as well as performing fabrication work when custom parts or attachments are needed. From routine service to complex troubleshooting, you'll play a key role in keeping the fleet safe and reliable. Key Duties: Inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks and heavy equipment Work on electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems Weld and fabricate components or attachments as needed Perform routine cleaning and maintenance, including washing trucks Document all repairs and services completed in work orders What We're Looking For: Experience with equipment or vehicle repair (municipal, diesel, or heavy equipment a plus) Welding and fabrication skills preferred Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to maintain accurate repair records Des Moines (West), IA 2496 1801 Grand Ave West Des Moines, IA 50265
