Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (Adult)Location: Bronx, NY 10461 Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Shift | 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Pay Rate: $65 - $71 per hour Position Type: Contract Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced adult emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult emergency department patients Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity Initiate and manage IV therapy and perform phlebotomy as required Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Required Skills & Experience Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy Experience with conscious sedation Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills Education Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Certifications & Licensure (Required) Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through NYS Department of Education (NYSED) AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) For more details contact at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
