Controller - MissionDriven Nonprofit (Alexandria, VA) Compensation: $150,000-$180,000+ Schedule: Monday-Friday, fully onsite Team: Six accounting staff Location: Alexandria, VA A large, long-standing, mission-focused nonprofit organization in the Alexandria area is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially stable institution with strong leadership, high employee longevity, and a deeply meaningful mission. The role is open due to an amicable relocation of the current Controller. Role Overview The Controller will oversee all accounting operations within a diverse and complex environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic setting and wants to influence systems, processes, and organizational infrastructure.
