RF Technician

Job Description Seeking an RF Application Technician for a permanent position with a growing small local business that has a long history as a worldwide leader in its niche industry. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the current product catalog, documenting existing products, providing sales and customer technical support, and assisting with the development of new designs. Pay Rate & Benefits Salary is commensurate with experience based on education, depth and breadth of prior work experience, and overall skill set. Key Responsibilities Advise customers on custom enclosure configuration, delivering support and recommendations via phone and email. Maintain and document the company's current catalog of RF and electronic products Troubleshoot, repair, and perform final testing of RF shielded test enclosures Test electronic equipment to define standards using documented test procedures Research technical issues and work directly with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, sales staff, project managers, and estimators to resolve problems and improve products Assist with the design and development of new products Provide technical support to customers via phone and email, including explaining RF principles and terminology Manage company test reports and perform basic data analysis Support light assembly and manufacturing tasks as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Associate degree (AS, AAS, AOS) in electronics or related field or military-trained RF technician 2-5 years of RF industry experience Understanding of basic RF properties, principles, and electronic components Experience using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF generators, and multimeters General electronics knowledge including troubleshooting, soldering, and equipment repair Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a small company environment Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision Flexibility to perform a variety of duties as needed Preferred Skills & Experience Experience using Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) Working knowledge of Salesforce 2-3 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
