Job Description HVAC Construction Project Superintendent The project superintendent is a key leadership figure as well as an on hands working on construction sites, and responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing logistics, and ensuring project completion according to specifications. Key Responsibilities : 1) Onsight : Serves and works as the general contractor's primary representative on the job site, managing all activities and ensuring that construction aligns with the project plans and specifications. 2) Logistics : Oversees the flow of materials, equipment placement, and the movement of their team, ensuring that all resources are available and utilized efficiently. 3) Schedule : Responsible for maintaining the construction schedule, translating overall timelines into daily and weekly tasks, and actively tracking progress to prevent delays. 4) Safety : Ensuring a safe work environment is a critical duty. Responsible for daily inspections, enforces safety protocol and addresses any hazardous conditions immediately. 5) Quality Control : Ensuring that all work meets the specified standards outlined in the contract documents. 6) Communications : Acts as a bridge between the owners and the customers, communicating with senior management regarding timelines, and any issues that arise during the project. Qualifications and Skills : Experience: Significant experience in commercial HVAC, working as a Manager/Superintendent.
