ROBOTIC WELDER - 2ND SHIFT

Robotic Welder This position will be responsible for operating robotic welders to produce quality parts. Essential Functions Sets up jobs by getting fixtures and components, locating the correct program needed on teach pendant, loading and securing fixtures and components onto the table of robot manually or using hoist or fork truck, and visually checking points of contact Operates robotic welder(s) by continually loading components onto the fixture, operating controls, adjusting machine, and monitoring robot functioning Grind parts per print spec Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Meet production goals Maintain a professional company image Productively participate in a Continuous Improvement work environment Perform other duties as assigned Requirements for All Jobs Perform other duties as assigned Following all rules, policies, and procedures established by Wood-Mizer, including codes of conduct, safety regulations, and other guidelines Showing up for work on time and adhering to Wood-Mizer's attendance policies is a fundamental responsibility for all employees Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment Conducting oneself in a professional manner, which includes maintaining a positive attitude, respecting colleagues, and presenting oneself appropriately Completing assigned tasks and projects within the given time frame, meeting deadlines, and delivering on commitments Qualifications Work Experience Experience Welding Experience Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities KSAs Proficiency Knowledge of using a powered welder Proficient Team player who can work independently Proficient Ability to follow proper safety protocols Proficient Ability to retain learned knowledge Proficient Attention to Detail High Education Education Level Technical Training Preferred 2nd Shift Mon - Fri (2p-10p)
