Essential Functions The LPN is pivotal in delivering high-quality nursing care, performing the administration of medications and treatments as per established medical and nursing care plans. You will work under the guidance of the Head/Charge Nurse to ensure the best care for all residents in your unit. Continuously assess residents’ behavior, symptoms, and progress, sharing insights with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Administer and accurately document all medications, adhering to established policies, physician orders, and Department of Health regulations. Conduct treatments as specified by physicians and consistent with established protocols. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse regarding the need to modify or discontinue medications. Order prescribed medications, communicate changes to the pharmacy, and verify the accuracy of medications and dosages received. Education and Experience Formal Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing. Experience: Relevant nursing experience is preferred. License, Registration, Certification Requirements: Must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse License and be eligible to work in the United States.
