Sr. Sourcing Analyst - Technology Renewal Desk

Role: Senior IT Sourcing Analyst (Renewals)The Mission: You are the "Renewal Lead" responsible for managing the company's tech subscriptions and hardware contracts. Your goal is to make sure the company never pays for software it isn't using and gets the best possible price on the tools it needs to keep running. Quick Facts Pay: $45.77 per hour Work Style: 100% Remote (Must work PST hours) Duration: 6 Months (Potential for extension) Process: Quick 1-2 interview turnaround A Day in the Life The "Desk" Owner: You manage the entire lifecycle of a renewal-from the moment a contract is about to expire until the final Purchase Order (PO) is signed. Master of the Calendar: You keep a master list of all expiration dates so there are never "surprise" bills or service outages. The Negotiator: You don't just accept the first price. You talk to vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, etc.) to lower costs and improve terms. Data Detective: You look at usage data. If the company pays for 1,000 licenses but only uses 600, you lead the charge to cut the waste. Financial Advisor: You compare quotes, calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and tell the Finance team which option makes the most sense for the budget. What You Need to Bring Experience: 3+ years in Tech Sourcing or IT Procurement. You should know the difference between a SaaS subscription and a hardware maintenance plan. Negotiation Muscle: You've successfully pushed back on vendors to save money and mitigate risk. Tech Savvy: You are comfortable with Source-to-Pay tools (like Coupa or SAP Ariba) and Contract Management software. Analytical Brain: You love a good spreadsheet. You can look at complex pricing models and simplify them for stakeholders. Independence: This is a high-volume environment. You can juggle 20 renewals at once without dropping the ball.
