Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: Qcells is looking for a Senior Project Manager who blends classic project ownership with technical programs to drive delivery across our energy software portfolio. This role will include multi-disciplinary workstreams across existing platform evolution as well as new product development spanning battery energy storage systems for commercial and industrial and residential applications and platforms. This role will include scope within energy storage and optimization, forecasting, market/tariff modeling, and real-time monitoring and will partner closely with product, software engineering, hardware/controls, and operations to plan, build, and launch features to build upon existing products as well as building newer products. This role will ensure that approved priorities are executed effectively, translating strategic decisions into structured project and program plans, and delivering outcomes on time, within scope, and with controlled risk. This position reports within the Chief Information Office and will be critical for team functions. RESPONSIBILITIES Program and Project Leadership Own execution governance for all approved projects and programs which will include end-to-end delivery (scope, timeline, budget, risk) for cross-functional programs and delivering high-quality releases Run routine planning meetings including sprints, standups, retros, and managing dependencies across software, data, and customer stakeholders Shift the organization from status reporting to proactive risk and issue management Lead risk management activities and include them in regular leadership reporting Technical Program Management Convert approved demands into clear PRDs, system requirements, and acceptance criteria. Partners with engineering on solution design and trade-offs Orchestrate full SDLC, including CI/CD readiness, observability, and runbooks/SOPs Ensure alignment between b usiness objectives, technical execution plans, and external partner deliverables Lead UAT, documentation, training, and cutover plans for new releases across commercial and industrial and platform customers and coordinating with customer success to maintain uptime and SLAs for live systems Cross-functional Execution Alignment Coordinate execution across various teams including product, engineering operations, and business teams Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives including commercial and industrial platforms, B iz modules, infrastructure platforms (CRM, ERP, Data), and other functional products Operational Ticket & Execution Integration Oversee daily operational ticket flows and KPI tracking Ensure clear separation but smooth integration between p roject execution and daily operational requests Monitor resolution rates, bottlenecks, and delivery risks Reporting & Transparency Provide structured reporting to ex ecutives, technical teams, and business teams on a regular cadence for program status Ensure visibility of progress, risks, decisions, and trade-offs Verify performance, monitor and report KPIs REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's and/or master's degree in economics, business, i nformation systems , social science, e ngineering or related fields 8-10 years of work experience in project, program, or delivery management in the energy, grid, or DER domains, ideally in the commercial and industrial or residential space Strong background in enterprise-scale project and program governance Strong SDLC execution from requirements to operated software at scale API/architecture fluency Deep understanding of project lifecycle management; risk, issue, and dependency management Excellent communication, escalation, and decision-tracking skills Travel may be required up to 10%, depending on business needs. Familiarity with energy storage solutions and systems and software development Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certifications Familiarity with delivering operating software related to tariff analysis, dispatch, and market participation Background in data science/ML programs Familiarity with key incentive programs and ISO/RTO markets (e.g. CAISO, SGIP, DSGS, demand response) Experience running enterprise PMO or delivery units Hands-on experience with Jira and integrated ticketing systems Exposure to global or multi-entity delivery environments Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc.
