General Manager of Restaurant Operations Reports to: Area Coach Join our dynamic team as a General Manager of Restaurant Operations, where you will take the lead in ensuring exceptional restaurant performance. You will oversee staff management, customer service, and financial outcomes, while optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing the guest experience. Your leadership will empower and develop your team, and together, you'll drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring compliance with brand standards and labor laws. Manage staffing levels and recruit talent, fostering internal career development. Recognize contributions of team members, holding them accountable for delivering outstanding service and food quality. Uphold brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to food safety standards. Analyze operational and financial performance, identifying trends and implementing action plans for sustainable growth. Ensure all cash handling and financial procedures are stringently followed. Monitor costs and adhere to budget goals with a keen understanding of cost/benefit impacts. Create a supportive environment, motivating team members and demonstrating self-awareness. Efficiently plan and execute shift operations with a focus on cost control and teamwork. Lead with empathy and fairness, cultivating future leaders within the organization. Coordinate restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and administrative duties. Strive for continuous improvement by reviewing practices and addressing guest concerns proactively. Engage with guests to resolve inquiries and complaints, ensuring satisfaction and positive guest recovery. Understand the impact of job responsibilities on guests, team members, and overall operations. Ensure adherence to brand standards for service, food quality, and safety for all team members and guests. Train team members on compliance with safety and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications for Success: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent management experience in a restaurant setting. Fluency in English is essential; Spanish comprehension is a plus. Basic math, reading, writing, and computer/POS skills are required. Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or General Manager role within a customer service environment, with P&L responsibility. Strong leadership skills demonstrated by leading by example and maintaining professionalism under pressure. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, engaging the right stakeholders for support when necessary. Willingness to learn all aspects of restaurant operations and work at various stations. Proficient knowledge of food and beverage performance metrics, product specifications, and management systems. Demonstrated technical proficiency in food preparation, production, and delivery, with a comprehensive understanding of food safety procedures. Possess a positive attitude and genuine desire to provide excellent service and support to others. Ability to treat others with respect and care. Strong communication skills, with verbal proficiency in English and/or Spanish. Self-motivated and action-oriented; eager to embrace a learning mindset. Willingness to acknowledge and take accountability for mistakes, while actively seeking solutions. Reliable attendance and punctuality on assigned shifts are essential. Must have reliable transportation for work and company events/meetings. Available to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with a commitment of at least 50 hours per week. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and frequently engage in bending, squatting, and reaching activities.
