The Data Science Asset Manager plays a vital role in designing, deploying, and facilitating the adoption of analytical solutions that benefit our Product Management partners. This position is essential for driving the acceptance of our Data Science portfolio, which involves creating impactful presentations for leadership, performing business impact analyses, and articulating the narrative behind analytical outcomes at all stages of the asset lifecycle. As part of the Personal Lines Loss and Demand modeling team, you will connect people, processes, and data assets to deliver significant business results related to product segmentation. This role will require an entrepreneurial mindset to identify improvement opportunities and oversee cross-functional teams in developing creative solutions. Your ability to influence stakeholders at various levels will be key to advancing our initiatives. In this role, you will cultivate relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data science solutions successfully address business challenges and deliver expected results. You'll identify areas for enhancement in existing processes and devise innovative data science solutions to mitigate risks, streamline processes, and boost operational efficiency. Additionally, you will support the Data Science and Engineering teams by managing project execution, maintaining roadmaps, and providing regular updates to business partners. The capacity to distill complex data science and engineering findings into actionable insights for our partners is crucial to our projects' success. Key Responsibilities: Develop strong partnerships with business clients and act as the main point of contact for multiple Data Science assets. Identify enhancement opportunities for existing assets or create new assets that provide operational and business value. Contribute to the communication plan and marketing strategy for critical initiatives, creating customer artifacts to facilitate adoption and socialization including documentation, project roadmaps, and insight briefs. Establish disciplined project timelines and assist teams in managing workloads to ensure timely delivery of results. Implement effective communication strategies tailored for diverse audiences, including technical peers and various business stakeholders. Assist in defining vision and strategic planning, develop success criteria, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and establish value propositions for Data Science assets. Engage with a variety of audiences, effectively communicate, and influence across different levels and backgrounds. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting analytics or machine learning product ownership in the insurance sector or a related field. Intermediate knowledge of insurance products, rating algorithms, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ability to translate business challenges into executable technical or analytical solutions. Strong storytelling skills and proficiency in building relationships with technical and non-technical audiences. Experience using Microsoft tools to create engaging visuals that simplify complex analytics topics. Capability to convey complicated technical concepts as business solutions and convert business requirements into technical strategies. Basic understanding of statistics, the analytical project lifecycle, data science principles, and data transformation concepts. Experience with Agile methodologies and Product Ownership is advantageous. This role offers a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates residing near one of our office locations should expect to work in the office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is derived from a thorough analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual salary may vary and can fall above or below the specified range, taking into account factors such as performance, proficiency, and demonstrated competencies required for the position. The base pay is one component of our total compensation package, which may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
