CDL B Driver

POSITION SUMMARY: Are you ready to take the wheel and drive your career forward? As a CDL B Driver, you will play a vital role in safely operating collection trucks while providing excellent waste removal services to our valued customers. You'll ensure that your vehicle meets safety standards and complies with regulations while efficiently completing your routes. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of your vehicle to ensure all components are safe and functional. Report any issues promptly. Operate your heavy truck safely along designated routes and ensure smooth service to each customer as indicated on your route sheet or as directed by dispatch. Utilize manual and/or automatic controls according to safety protocols to lift, load, and dispose of waste effectively. Engage courteously with customers, dispatchers, and team members to ensure exceptional service delivery. Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers, following departmental procedures. Regularly monitor waste for unacceptable materials and resolve any related issues. Manage accidental spills with clean-up protocols, prioritizing safety and adherence to policies. Maintain optimal vehicle condition to minimize downtime and ensure efficient service; clean your vehicle as necessary after each disposal trip. Complete all necessary route/productivity documentation, including vehicle condition reports. Meet productivity standards to certify timely and efficient service to all customers. Adhere to all safety policies and participate actively in the Company's safety programs. Exhibit strong customer service skills, responding professionally to meet and exceed customer expectations. Demonstrate effective time management abilities to complete your duties safely and efficiently. Maintain integrity by following Company policies and promoting safety standards without taking unnecessary risks. Take pride in your work and strive to achieve your goals. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
