As an Analyst/Trainer, you will be instrumental in planning activities for high-fidelity, supercomputing-based acoustic trainer development and deployment. You will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the operation, testing, and evaluation of trainer capabilities. Your role will include installation and handover of trainer systems to the US Navy, collaborating with technical teams, US Navy schoolhouse personnel, and both military and civilian DoD customers to ensure the trainer systems function correctly and meet requirements. Your impact will be significant; your work won’t just fade into the background. You will travel to key locations, such as San Diego, Norfolk, and Mayport, gaining invaluable experience in the real-world consequences of your contributions. Overtime Compensation: Any hours worked beyond the standard 40-hour workweek are compensated at regular time rates. Required Education: High school diploma coupled with significant experience in a Surface Ship ASW-related role. Required Experience: Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. Government granted security clearance. An interim Secret security clearance is needed to start. Background: Minimum of 6+ years of relevant military experience showing skills to effectively execute the duties of this role. Skills: Subject matter expertise in SQQ-89 (ACB13 or newer) Sonar system operations is essential; comfort in working with technical teams and conducting system testing is required. Pay Range: $65,650.00 - $118,675.00 The pay range is a guideline and doesn’t guarantee compensation; factors affecting offers include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
