Responsibilities Prepare, wrap, and beautifully present a diverse range of cheeses and specialty grocery products. Engage customers through enjoyable tastings and product demonstrations at the Murray's Cheese Shop and Deli. Deliver enthusiastic customer service, creating engaging conversations and unforgettable tasting experiences. Grow your cheese knowledge by participating in daily cheese tastings. Assist in meeting sales targets and profitability goals while fostering a positive team environment. Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards. Follow operational procedures to ensure a fresh and appealing product selection. Complete ongoing training programs to enhance your skills and expertise. Curate a boutique shopping experience through effective education, attractive merchandising, and successful cross-selling. Be ready to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications A strong desire to learn and share your passion for cheese. Eagerness to taste and explore new cheeses daily. Excellent communication skills to connect with various audiences. Previous experience in retail is a bonus, but not required. A genuine enthusiasm for the cheese industry and its objectives. The ability to inspire and engage customers while effectively managing tasks.
