Job Description Please note: This position requires extensive travel (50%-60%). Overview: Join us in a pivotal role to transform healthcare systems! As a Lead Clinical Consultant, you will play a key role in crafting clinical strategies for Post Go-Live (PGL) Readiness Methodology. Your expertise will be vital in leading the Support Readiness Fundamentals series, developing tailored content for specific projects and site needs, and promoting clinical excellence through both onsite and virtual readiness events. Help us shape the future of healthcare IT! Key Responsibilities: Lead Readiness Fundamentals: Direct the design and implementation of Support Readiness Fundamentals series, aligning with project objectives and site-specific requirements. Site Leadership: Offer clinical leadership to site teams for effective EHR sustainment after go-live. Risk Management: Work alongside Project Managers to identify, document, and address risks and issues during post-go-live support. Clinical Liaison: Act as the primary clinical contact, facilitating effective communication among informatics teams, healthcare providers, and leadership. Project Success: Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely completion of deliverables, addressing clinical concerns proactively. Informatics Planning: Develop strategic readiness plans to ensure smooth transitions during EHR go-live processes across clinical teams. Training Delivery: Conduct focused training sessions for informatics teams to facilitate ongoing success and sustainability post-implementation. Process Improvement: Spearhead rapid process enhancements and workflow adoption initiatives to boost operational efficiency. Workflow Adoption: Partner with informatics teams to evaluate and improve the adoption of new workflows among end users and super users. Core Competencies & Skills: Clinical Informatics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows, EHR best practices, and Oracle Health/Cerner solutions. Project Management: Proven track record of leading projects and overseeing large-scale EHR transitions with a focus on risk management and process adoption. Stakeholder Relationship Building: Foster collaboration across clinical teams, IT departments, and leadership through effective communication. Adaptability: Ability to quickly assess workflows, suggest improvements, and tackle challenges with innovative solutions. Analytical Skills: Utilize critical thinking and performance data to uncover opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field (required). Master's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or Business Administration (preferred). Registered Nurse (RN) or a relevant clinical licensure (preferred). 5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or EHR optimization (required). Expert knowledge of Oracle Health/Cerner systems, implementation, and workflow alignment. Demonstrated project management skills with experience in clinical transformation initiatives. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with a passion for enhancing clinical workflows. Location: United States No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
