Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - ER Job Details:• Flexible scheduling options: 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours OR 4x12 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours• Weekend coverage required as needed• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required (18 months required, 2 years preferred)• First-time travelers accepted• Float within scope to meet facility needs as needed• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start• Required skills include: arterial line management, management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/PPE, and triage• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized first once confirmed (6-15 hours average, non-billable)• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission• Two references from direct supervisor/manager required• No on-call responsibilities• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only) Facility:This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with clinical tracks in critical care and emergency medicine.
