Volunteers are the heart of hospice. Hope Hospice Companionship Volunteer- Hope Hospice is looking for kind hearts to provide friendship and a supportive presence to our hospice patients on their end of life journey. Our patients are often lonely and desire companionship. Your role can include, but isn’t limited to, talking with patients and helping them share their life stories, reading to them, playing cards or sharing music with them. Hospice care goes beyond a patient’s physical needs but strives to provide comfort, dignity for both patients and their families. Volunteering for Hope Hospice has many benefits - flexible schedules, learning new skills, having fun! Join our team of compassionate volunteers who are making a difference. Training and orientation are provided. Find out more about our volunteer program at Young adults, aged 16-18, need chaperones to visit with patients.
