Job Title: Business Operations Specialist Location: Malvern, PA Work Model: HYBRID (3 days/week On-site) Hire Model: 2 Year Contract + Extensions Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Time Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44.00/hr Job Description Our large pharmaceutical client in Malvern, PA is looking for a Business Operations Specialist to support their Cell & Gene Therapy organization within R&D. This person will serve as a liaison between the scientific teams and finance. Primary responsibilities include: Proactively manage Program OOPs by working with Scientific Integrators (SIs) and/or Business Integrators to ensure budget adherence, both forecast as well as actualization. Generating forecast vs. actuals reports for CGT budgets Generating Headcount and Consultant reports. In collaboration with finance, reclass costs on a regular basis to the appropriate financial bucket. Standardizing key performance indicators (KPIs) into scorecards for leadership review Performing data analysis using Excel, , Tableau, UCT and other platforms to support decision-making Maintaining capital item purchase list and tracking Documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Operations team and Scientific Integrators Required Skills & Experience Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field required Minimum of 2 years of experience in business operations within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field Demonstration of strong financial and business acumen Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Nice to Have Skills & Experience MBA and/or advanced degree in related discipline preferred Proven experience in driving process improvement and improving operational efficiency Experience in the pharmaceutical industry Experience in , UCT, and Tableau FPX project management or related project management certification
