Key Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, reporting any illegal activity immediately. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards to foster a safe pharmacy environment. Manage ordering functions effectively with wholesalers to ensure pharmacy products are readily available. Accurately track inventory levels using computerized systems for medications and supplies. Keep your workspace clean and organized to enhance the customer experience. Prepare and dispense medications accurately following industry best practices. Carry out billing procedures to deliver the best value for both customers and the company. Respond to inquiries over the phone with professionalism and efficiency. Adhere to guidelines concerning coupons and cash handling to prevent discrepancies. Operate the cash register in alignment with company policies, ensuring secure transactions. Provide exceptional customer experiences through effective data entry and product dispensing. Support pharmacists in their work while respecting the defined scope of practice. Follow HIPAA regulations strictly to protect patient information. Actively participate in company health and wellness initiatives. Receive and organize deliveries of pharmacy products accurately. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure. Manage conflicts in a professional and amicable manner. Exhibit honesty and integrity in customer and business interactions. Seek assistance when necessary to effectively resolve challenges. Assist a diverse range of populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Meet state requirements to fulfill role responsibilities. Desired Qualities: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Experience as a pharmacy clerk is beneficial. Familiarity with EPRN systems is a plus. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.20 - $18.70.
