JOB TITLE: Early Career Electrical Assembly Technician - Relocation Support Available Location: On-site in North Charleston, SC. Relocation assistance offered, with a $5K bonus provided. This position may be advertised in various locations to attract qualified candidates. Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this position? Can you commute to the job location or consider relocating if necessary? Summary: Route wire harnesses according to blueprint instructions and 787 specifications. Assemble connectors, splice wires, crimp, and terminate wiring. Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components. Execute repairs and rework processes in accordance with authorized engineering changes. Conduct fiber optic cleaning, inspection, light loss testing, routing, and installation. Perform bond and ground operations including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation, and resistance testing. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school or Associate degree preferred. 6+ months of experience using software applications such as internet navigation, email, and Microsoft Office. 6+ months of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English. 6+ months of experience in advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical environments using hand, power, or pneumatic tools. 6+ months of experience with structural parts fabrication and assembly processes. Physical capability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing or balancing, reaching overhead, and head/neck rotation. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Comfortable working safely with high-hazard chemicals. Must be available to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on business need. Must be a U.S. citizen (as defined by ITAR).
