Position Overview: As the Event Services Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and exceptional experiences for both members and guests. You will manage the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions while enforcing Invited service standards. Collaboration with the banquet team will be key to ensuring appropriate staffing, smooth coordination, and strict compliance with safety and service guidelines. Daily Responsibilities: Recruit and develop banquet service personnel in line with club procedures. Facilitate training programs to uphold Invited service standards, driving service excellence and member satisfaction. Coordinate with the Event Sales Director to ensure optimum staffing and flawless execution of events. Review banquet event orders (BEO's) to ensure room setups match function details, adjusting as necessary. Oversee timely service of food and beverages, adhering to Invited’s quality standards. Monitor events, ensure prompt food service, and engage with event hosts post-event to ensure satisfaction and process payments. Manage room setups and breakdowns as dictated by event specifics. Execute opening procedures to ensure all areas are prepared as per event requirements. Document relevant information in the MOD log for the next shift. Provide a warm welcome to members and guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with sanitary guidelines. Adapt to last-minute requests and changes from members and guests professionally. Complete additional duties as assigned by management. Additional Responsibilities: Assist team members as needed and be open to taking on additional tasks. Follow club and department policies, maintaining ethical standards. Exemplify professionalism in all interactions. Prioritize safety and compliance, promoting safe working practices within the team. Engage in personal and professional development, maintaining relevant certifications. Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to address challenges and support operations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 2 years experience in food & beverage, restaurant, or banquet services. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Food Handlers' Certificate, Alcohol Safety, TABC Certification, CPR Certification, or equivalents. Completed Food Safety and Alcohol Safety training. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in varied temperatures and environments. Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally. Strong communication skills, including talking and hearing, with adequate vision. Tools and Equipment Used: Computer Banquet Event Order (BEO) POS system Trays Bottle Opener Wine Tool Work Schedule: Attendance according to the weekly schedule; additional hours may be required, including weekends and holidays.
