Senior Consultant in Insurance Process Innovation, AI & Automation About the Role We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant, focused on advising Insurance clients, both in business and IT domains. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in leading teams dedicated to insurance business process innovation, optimization, AI, and automation initiatives. Applicants should have experience in the following areas: Managing Insurance business processes across various product lines including Life, Annuities, Brokerage, Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Disability Insurance, and Long Term Care. Navigating the insurance value chain, including Underwriting, Claims, New Business, Policy Servicing, and more. Applying process reimagination and optimization techniques, along with change management and design thinking methodologies. Conducting process discovery and assessment to identify improvement opportunities and automation potentials. Mapping current states and designing future state solutions comprehensively. Executing end-to-end automation initiatives for insurance carriers. Implementing various intelligent automation technologies such as RPA, RDA, AI/ML, Intelligent Document Processing, and Chat BOTS. Driving digital transformation and modernization programs. Utilizing BPMN tools like IBM Blue Works and Visio. Implementing automation platforms like UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Pega Robotics, and Appian. Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies. Proficiency in tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI, and JIRA/Trello/ADO. Additional Responsibilities Client Relationship and Development: Regularly engage with senior-level clients, providing clear and insightful communication and earning their respect. Client Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality client outputs, with a focus on mentorship and guiding team efforts. Consulting Behaviors: Work independently with minimal oversight while identifying opportunities for impact, displaying adaptability and a willingness to engage in new challenges. Core Consulting Skills: Develop compelling business cases to substantiate recommendations, lead meetings effectively, and deliver impactful presentations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Property & Casualty insurer or related consulting services. Experience across the insurance value chain, including Underwriting, Claims, New Business, and Policy Servicing. Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship. Proficiency in multitasking, stakeholder engagement, and operational goal attainment. Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a global delivery model. Familiarity with Agile and hybrid methodologies. Preferred Qualifications MBA or equivalent advanced degree, with industry-related certifications considered a plus. Creative problem-solving skills. Strategic thinking and teamwork capabilities. For candidates based in CA, WA, NY, IL, MN, and NJ, the estimated annual gross compensation range is $130,000 to $177,000.
