Sales Specialist About the Role: Join our dynamic team as a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist and take charge of driving volume and market share growth for our innovative pharmaceutical products. In this exciting role, you will be establishing and nurturing strong relationships with healthcare professionals while delivering compelling sales presentations primarily in office environments. Key Responsibilities Include: Drive volume and market share for assigned pharmaceutical products within your territory. Conduct effective sales presentations to physicians and other healthcare professionals in an office-based setting. Gain insights into the local market to identify unique challenges and opportunities, especially in managed healthcare. Manage resources effectively, including samples and promotional materials, while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines. Ensure accountability for all pharmaceutical samples according to FDA and PDMA guidelines. Utilize the sales automation system to document activities and stay organized. Participate in initial and ongoing product training to stay informed and effective. Requirements: BA/BS degree is required. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of business-to-business outside sales experience with a proven track record of success. 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience demonstrating strong results. Established relationships within the targeted geographic area. Key Competencies: Exceptional sales ability and persuasiveness, utilizing effective communication methods to engage customers. Ability to develop account plans tailored to customer needs and business priorities. Proficient in establishing methods for tracking progress toward goals. Drive for high performance, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Action-oriented approach, capable of influencing outcomes and demonstrating proactivity. Compensation: The potential base pay range for this role is $90,000 to $115,000 annually, with actual pay depending on qualifications, location, and other factors.
