About the Role As the Live Entertainment Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the production and project management of onboard entertainment for our cruise line client. You will be instrumental in upholding the artistic vision and ensuring that both RWS Global and client brand standards are consistently met. This role involves enhancing innovation and efficiency in client rehearsals and operations, making your contribution vital to our success. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of production and project management for mainstage products, including workflow, studio logistics, materials management, and transportation logistics. Act as the primary production liaison for the onboard entertainment team, providing necessary assistance and troubleshooting support. Create and coordinate rehearsal schedules, wardrobe fittings, and cast onboarding sessions to ensure seamless integration of talent. Promptly address all rehearsal and voyage reports to maintain effective communication and resolve issues. Develop production calendars that align with client timelines for installations and changeovers. Manage the budget effectively for all changeovers to ensure financial accountability. Assist with studio needs and manage all onboard product changeovers efficiently. Document and regularly update all production materials, providing necessary information for client deliverables. Support daily production needs and maintain proactive communication with talent during rehearsals and onboard. Host onboarding meetings for talent, covering essential information about life onboard and travel expectations. Ensure adherence to all policies set by the Account Lead, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Travel to ships as necessary to oversee production activities. Qualifications BFA/BA degree in Theatrical Production, Musical Production, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the entertainment industry, especially within theatre or live entertainment; experience with cruise ships is an advantage. At least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in an entertainment setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications. Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 35% of the time. Demonstrated motivation, passion for the arts, integrity, and collaborative spirit. Familiarity with immersive musical theater or music venues is a plus. Understanding of various music genres, including classical, rock/pop, and jazz. Experience in theatrical administration such as stage or production management is beneficial. A valid passport is required for travel-related responsibilities.
