As a Lead SAP Finance Consultant, you will utilize your expertise in SAP Finance solutions and business processes to guide clients through their SAP implementation journeys. Your role is essential in aligning SAP Finance solutions with industry best practices, ensuring that technology meets and enhances client business processes. We are open to candidates based in any U.S. city, and you should be prepared to travel up to 100% as required by client projects. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement and Consulting: Foster strong relationships with clients to grasp their business objectives and challenges. Lead workshops to showcase SAP best practices and gather business requirements effectively. Serve as a trusted advisor in SAP and business best practices within your area of expertise. Analyze current business processes, pinpoint improvement areas, and design optimized future-state processes aligned with SAP best practices. Propose solution options that facilitate informed client decision-making. Collaborate across functions with consultants and stakeholders to address business requirements requiring seamless integration. Ensure SAP configuration aligns effectively with defined business processes. Manage tasks assigned to offshore teams and junior consultants to guarantee timely deliverables. Oversee testing of configurations and developments to ensure completeness and proper documentation before handing over to clients. Lead initiatives across all phases of the SAP Activate Methodology. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. Track progress in your domain and assist in identifying and mitigating project risks. Internal Collaboration: Offer advisory services in SAP and business best practices continually. Mentor junior and associate consultants, fostering their development within the organization. Engage in your career development through continuous education, setting annual goals and objectives. Support presales activities and assist the project team during the Discovery phase to establish project scope. Requirements and Qualifications: 5+ years of SAP project implementation experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience. 2+ years of leadership experience in SAP implementation projects or production support. 2+ years of integration experience with other process areas. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience as a Business Process Consultant or similar role focused on SAP projects. Strong understanding of SAP solutions and modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA). Proficient in business process modeling and documentation. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
