You will work one-on-one with students to support their academic success across a range of subjects, tailoring your approach to fit individual learning styles.Key Responsibilities: Provide academic support based on expertise and alignment with the Illinois curriculum standards.Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student's needs.Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals. RequirementsAll applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and meet at least one of the following: Hold a valid Illinois State teaching certificate (or equivalent from another state).Currently enrolled in a teacher certification program.Have 2+ years of experience teaching in a private, public, or charter school.Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. college or university.Are a Master's or PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at a U.S. university or college.
