Job Description Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop standardized work instructions and production documentation. Conduct time studies to establish accurate production benchmarks. Partner with engineering teams to ensure product designs support manufacturability. Diagnose and resolve production issues on the shop floor. Lead or contribute to lean manufacturing and efficiency initiatives. Design and refine tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance workflow. Maintain routings, BOMs, and manufacturing data within relevant systems. Research and apply emerging manufacturing technologies when beneficial. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 6-8 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming, machining). Experience programming CNC milling machines and lathes. Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; familiarity with Inventor Vault is a plus. Solid knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problemsolving skills. Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and support team development.
