This is a full-time, yard-based role with early start times and occasional extended hours, offering consistent local work with minimal overnight travel. What You’ll Do Safely operate Class A vehicles with 48–53’ RGN and Landall trailers to transport construction materials and equipment. Ensure all loads are properly secured and compliant with DOT regulations, including unsupervised loading of heavy iron. Plan and execute delivery schedules efficiently to meet project deadlines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting issues promptly. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and team members. Keep accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, and equipment usage. Assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Help around the yard or shop on rainy days or when local work slows. Keep trucks and yard areas clean and organized to support operational efficiency. What We’re Looking For Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy vehicles, with proven RGN/lowboy experience hauling heavy iron or construction materials. Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and safety requirements. Ability to safely lift and secure loads using chains, straps, and other equipment. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. Willingness to start early (typically 6 AM–3 PM) with flexibility for earlier or later shifts; minimal overnight travel. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Positive attitude, safety-conscious mindset, and commitment to reliability.
